Electrosonic Supports World Polio Day with 40-Foot Projection in Orlando

A 40-foot projection displaying "End Polio Now" onto the Orlando City Hall building was provided gratis by Electrosonic for World Polio Day.

Electrosonic's Orlando office teamed with the Orlando Rotary Club to support World Polio Day in downtown Orlando on Friday, October 24th, projecting a 40-foot “End Polio Now” logo onto the Orlando City Hall building. The projection system was engineered and provided gratis by Electrosonic.

Supporting this event were John Notarnicola - Senior Projection Engineer, David Boudreau - Site Supervisor, Tom Miller - Projectionist.  Elliot Nyfield assisted with the planning and content arrangement.  Projection equipment was a Christie D4K3560 projector and 7thSense Nano video server.

Electrosonic exhibited at WFX Worship Facilities 2014, an exposition held October 1-2 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center (formerly the Dallas Convention Center) in Texas. Electrosonic showcased our audio-visual solutions and services, and demonstrated the latest Delta displays, including Interactive Whiteboards and Megapixel WideXtreme displays.

Electrosonic to Team Up with Christie and Harkness to Provide Laser Projection Demo at GSCA Conference

Electrosonic is teaming up with Christie and Harkness Screens to demonstrate a premium giant screen cinema experience featuring laser projection during a special technical session at the Giant Screen Cinema Association (GSCA) conference on September 23rd at the Cineplex Cinemas Queensway in Toronto.

Combining Christie's laser projection system, which features a state-of-the-art 6 primary (6P) color system, capable of delivering more than three times the light output of current lamp-based digital projectors, with Electrosonic's systems integration expertise, the demonstration will present the ultimate giant screen cinema experience for 2D and 3D films to the press and GSCA delegates from 20 countries. Christie currently recommends Harkness Screens for all their laser projection installations.

Electrosonic exhibited at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2014, which was held at the Amsterdam RAI in Netherlands from February 4 to 6. With over 950 exhibitors, there was plenty of new technology to be seen.

With 2014 marking Electrosonic's 50th Anniversary, Electrosonic also invited guests to join a cocktail party at the booth.

GSCA Selects Electrosonic, Christie, and RealD to Provide Digital Projection for 2014 GSCA Film Expo

Electrosonic, along with Christie and RealD, have been chosen by the Giant Screen Cinema Association (GSCA) to provide the digital 3D giant screen projection system for the GSCA 2014 Film Expo in Austin, Texas, at the Bullock Museum on March 24-25. Using the highest-quality, DIGSS-compliant, digital 3D possible featuring the latest technology available in the market, the system will present new films and films in production during the annual two-day event.

Electrosonic’s AV Expertise Showcased In Two Thea Award-Winning Projects

Electrosonic's audio-visual accomplishments have been recognized by two projects honored with Thea Awards for Outstanding Achievement at the 20th Annual Thea Awards. Electrosonic played key roles in two Thea Award Winners:

  • “Polynesian Cultural Center Revitalization” in Oahu, Hawaii (Attraction Revitalization category)
  • “Mystic Manor” at Hong Kong Disneyland  (Attraction category)

The awards will be presented April 5, 2014, at a gala dinner at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.

Electrosonic wins AV Award for 'Consumer Installation of the Year'

2013 AV Awards Winner

The 2013 winners of the annual AV Awards were announced on October 11 at the London Hilton on Park Lane. Electrosonic took home the 'Consumer Installation of the Year' award for The Siemens Crystal. This recent win takes Electrosonic’s AV Awards total to twenty-seven since the event started in 1999.
